A Heart Laid Bare
A soul, once bright, now shadowed deep,
The heart that yearned, a love to keep.
Life well-lived, a selfless art,
A wounded spirit, heart torn apart.
You gave your all, with every breath,
A beacon shining, facing death.
You served with grace, a noble quest,
A sacrifice, a noble test.
Yet, in the shadows, pain did reside,
A silent sorrow, a hidden, surging tide.
A price too high, a heavy toll,
A weary spirit, a wounded soul.
Though trials beset, your spirit soared,
A testament to love, adored.
A life well-lived, a legacy bright,
A beacon shining, a guiding light.
