Across These Times
Across these times, the winds of absence blow,
Through fractured shadows, where our selves we sow.
Across these times, the winds of doubt they bite,
Yet through the shadows, we ignite we take our flight.
Time's vision shifts, a constant, unknown sway,
We fear the paths where un-grown spirits stray.
You and I, a knot of night and day,
In braided eternities, we find make our way.
Across these times, this cage we built ourselves,
a place of beginnings of ends, where spirit's journey delves.
A curved road's arc, in space's timeless rhyme,
Where past and future dance, beyond all time.
Across these times, transplanted souls we are,
Rooted in now, till starlight guides us far.
This duality, a veil upon our sight,
it conceals the whole, the totality's light.
Bring on the night, let not fear of shadows be our guide,
To plant hope's seeds, where only doubts reside.
We'll sing our songs until we make our souls take flight,
To pierce the darkness, and explore the light.
Across these times, with open eyes we see,
The old, the new, a future's destiny.
With open eyes, we see the future gleam,
Where old and new, in unity convene, and dream.
